Bio :

Vanshi started his journey in the world of music in 1999. Back then, this 16-year-old boy having little or no knowledge about music was amazed by something at an event. A guy standing behind a console turning knobs, changing CDs and playing through cassettes (yeah, those days were the days) and make everyone move and dance to his 'tunes'. That’s when he decided to create wonders with music. Vanshi’s passion and relentless work earned him the tag of DJ. Over the years DJ Vanshi has evolved and made his mark in top clubs of India.

DJ Vanshi had the distinct advantage of early experience. The DJ-ing scenario was still evolving when he began learning his way around the console. He grew with the industry, crossing milestones along the way and establishing himself as a Pro Music Producer in a matter of years.

DJ Vanshi’s started out in his hometown, Hyderabad. He started playing at Underdeck at the Taj in Hyderabad. A student by day, but when the sun goes down he can be found behind the console in front of packed hotspots making people dance to his tunes. Later he moved to Mumbai to pursue his passion for music and enrolled in a sound engineering course, after a couple years of DJ-ing in Hyderabad. 

He started sharing his knowledge by teaching DJ-ing to aspiring DJs at one of India’s most sought-after DJs - DJ Nasha’s Workstation. Then in 2005, DJ Vanshi got a privilege to be a resident DJ at Olive Beach in Bangalore and he was quick to grab this opportunity. He moved to Bangalore and rocked the leading party capital of India with his music. DJ Vanshi won the Time Music War of DJs from Bangalore and was 3rd in the country. In 2007, he took over ICE Bar at Vivanta by Taj as the resident DJ.

DJ Vanshi has also played an opening set for a lot of international DJs like Dimitri Vegas &Like Mike, Wolfpack, Jerome Isma Ae to name a few. Also, he was the man behind the music nigh
