New York, New York, On the Street Where You live, Shiny Stockings, Cheek-to-Cheek and all those tunes you have grown up on and still nostalgically hum, then our Feb 23 concert is where you gotta be. The Moving Big Band is a 20 piece Big Jazz Band Orchestra from Sweden comprising of Saxophones, Trumpets, Trombones, Flutes, Clarinet, Double Bass, Piano, Guitars, and drums. With over 4 decades of performing together at some of the great concert venues in Europe and other countries, their specialty is standard songs and jazz and concert pieces arranged by them, both mellow and uptempo music by great composers like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, the Gershwin brothers. This will be followed by the BSM Senior Concert Choir rendering old time favorite love songs from the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s; jazz, rock, pop, semi-classical and Lloyd-Weber favorites.
