Music has been an inspiration for DJ T-Jorus since his childhood. His grandfather was a classical percussionist, however, T-Jorus was initially more interested in singing and often participated in school shows. The response and support he gathered there, motivated him to perform in reality shows in North East. He even secured a semi-finalist position in ‘Golden voice of North East’ representing Shillong. T-Jorus then formed a band and performed at various events in Shillong and Assam.

With experience of 4 years in the industry and playing at various clubs and events in the country, he completed his music production course at ‘Resonance studios & academy’ from his guru DJ Pawas (German DJ and producer) who is signed to record labels like Spectral Sound, Fear of Flying, Squonk, Brut!, Night Drive Music. T-Jorus was also mentored by Djuma Soundsystem, Premik Jolly and Unnayanna in the academy.

T-Jorus has also judged War of Djs with Sahil Madaan which was powered by Hard Rock Cafe and Resonance Academy at Symbiosis Institute of Business management , Bengaluru. He was also played at various private events for the corporate world in the country.
