BFlat, Indiranagar presents a very musical evening, celebrating independent songwriting in India. The evening's programme will feature Delhi based Chayan & Smiti, an indie-acoustic duo that is very successful and highly respected in New Delhi music cirlcles; followed by Bangalore band, Opposite Sex, who's quirky, reflective music is littered with little hooks that stay in the mind long after the show. Strong melodies, great singing and songwriting skills - the audience can expect an evening rich with wonderful tunes, great vocalese and lyrics. Opposite Sex A pop-rock-with-a-little-jazz band from Bangalore, Opposite sex offers the audience a unique sound, with lyrics that today's youth can relate to. With a wide variety of musical styles, Opposite sex are nothing if not interesting. The two front persons: Siddharth's (songwriter - lead guitar and vocals) zen-like presence provides the perfect counterpoint to Ragini Ramanathan's (singer/bass guitarist/songwriter) firecracker energy. Chayan & Smiti Chayan & Smiti were recently listed as one of the best new acts of 2015 by the Rolling Stone magazine. Both equally accomplished singers, their collaboration is rich with melody and harmony, ably accompanied by Chayan's guitar skills.
