Beer Mile - India's First Beer Run in Bangalore

Ever thought beer and fitness could go together? If not, then this is something which Bangaloreans can absolutely not afford to miss.

Bangalore is all set to host the first ever Beer Mile in India. Wondering what this fuss is all about? Well, actually it’s quite simple. Drink a beer, and follow it up by running quarter of a mile. Repeat this four times, till you finish 1 whole mile and drink 4 beers. The one of its kind event is way more than what you perceive right now.

In the mind blowing festival, you will also get to enjoy amazing food, brilliant music, fun games and some more beer. And you know what the best part is, the entry to this extremely entertaining festival is completely free.

This is your chance to achieve the fitness goals you made while gulping down pints of beer the other night with your friends and that too by drinking some more of it.

• Age limit:21 years and above.
• Please ensure that you have fully understood the risk and responsibility of participating in the Beer Mile India or any event outlined in this application (collectively `the event`) and will be participating entirely at your risk and responsibility.
• Please choose the event carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be modified. Provide us with a secure email address that you can access regularly, as this will be our primary means of contacting you during the run up to the event.
• You have met the minimum age requirement of 21 years as on race day (i.e. born on or before 19.11.1995).
• Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners.
• You understand that you must be of, and must train to, an appropriate level of fitness to participate in such a physically demanding event and you have obtained a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner, allowing you to participate in the event/s.
• By registering you agree that running a beer mile is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health. You take full responsibility for participating in the Beer Mile India and do not hold the organizing committee of Beer Mile India, Sixmad (OPC) Private Limited, all sponsors/partners of the event, all political entities, authorities, officials, volunteers and all other persons and entities associated with the event and the directors, employees, agents and representatives of all or any of the aforementioned including, but not limited to, any claims that might result from me/my ward participating in the event and whether on account of loss, damage, illness, injury, death or otherwise.
• You agree that you are injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer/s any detriment whatsoever, you hereby irrevocably authorize the event officials and organizers to, at your risk and cost, transport you to a medical facility and/or to administer emergency medical treatment and you waive all claims that might result from such transport and/or treatment or delay or deficiency therein. You shall pay or reimburse your medical and emergency expenses and you hereby authorize Beer Mile India to incur the same.
• You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event.
• In case of any illness or injury caused to you or death suffered by you due to any medical reasons or medical condition during the race or at any time thereafter as a result of the event, regardless or not whether such medical reasons or condition shall have been pre-existing conditions known by you and further regardless of whether you shall have disclosed, at any point in time, the existence of such reason or condition to any person, none of the members of organizing committee of Beer Mile India, Sixmad (OPC) Private Limited, sponsors/partners of the event, political entities, authorities, officials, volunteers or any other persons and entities associated with the event and the directors, employees, agents and representatives of all or any of the aforementioned shall be held liable by you or your representatives.
• In case of any illness or injury caused to you or death suffered by you due to any force majeure event including but not limited to fire, riots or other civil disturbances, earthquakes, storms, typhoons or any terrorist act, none of the members of organizing committee of Beer Mile India, Sixmad (OPC) Private Limited, sponsors/partners of the event, political entities, authorities, officials, volunteers or any other persons and entities associated with the event and the directors, employees, agents and representatives of all or any of the aforementioned shall be held liable by you or your representatives.
• You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interests of your health and event safety.
• You also agree to stop running or drinking if instructed by the Race director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers.
• You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the Event.
• You acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by Beer Mile India or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion and administration of the Event and for the compilation of statistical information.
• You agree to receive information and offers of various brands/products/services as may be sent to you by the event promoters (or a person duly authorized by the promoters) on the email address given by you in this application form.
• You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the Event. You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges and convenience charges wherever applicable). In the event of cancellation of the race by the organizers for reasons other than above, you will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges and convenience charges wherever applicable).
• Runners will not be allowed to stay on the course beyond the cut-off time considering the safety, health and time issues.
• In the event of an unexpected postponement of the race due to unforeseen circumstances such as a natural disaster, political/communal disturbances, or any other incident beyond the control of the organizers, which may jeopardize the safety of the participants, the organizers will intimate participants of the changes and will not be liable to refund the registration fee to the participants. However, if the event is cancelled, the participants will be refunded in full minus the convenience fee.
• In case you are filling the application on someone elses behalf, you confirm that they have agreed to abide by all the terms and conditions mentioned above.
• Team Run Category
