Highlights :
Riding on the success of its first four shows, the Art Bengaluru Collective (ABC) is back with its landmark 5th multi-art exhibition ABC 5.0, at a grand new venue: Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. Over 30 artists will display their riveting works, as the unique show unfolds on June 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 in all its myriad avatars.
At Chitrakala Parishath, ABC 5.0 will line up a versatile range of art across genres. From traditional to abstract paintings, charcoal to pen-and-ink, the three-gallery show will also feature photographic works and graphic cartoons. On show are more than 300 artistic renderings in arresting detail, landscapes, realism, minimalism, portraits and sketches.
Launched in 2022 by journalist-artist Rasheed Kappan and painter-theatreperson Ranji David, ABC is a platform that democratizes access to art appreciation in a gallery setup. All its shows have made that connect between artists and art lovers seamless, while keeping the setup affordable, engaging and appealing. The Rangoli Metro Art Centre, MG Road has been the ABC base so far.
To add a dash of action, the exhibition will also feature live art and caricatures, book readings, and dozens of creative interactions. Over the last two years, the ABC collective exhibitions have beckoned hundreds of art buffs, art buyers, social media influencers and vloggers. Being Karnataka’s premier art destination, Chitrakala Parishath is expected to increase the footfalls manifold.
