Akhu is a singer/songwriter and frontman of the folk rock band ‘Imphal Talkies & The Howlers’. He started as a solo artist singing in the streets of New Delhi at various protest events.. Akhu also has been working with 60 children as part of his children music project “A Native Tongue Called Peace” where an attempt is being made to bring peace between various ethnic tribes and communities in Manipur.
