A Poetry Open Mic with a Creative Twist

The Yellow Room is a Community for poets and all who are interested in poetry.We invite you to share your poems or just listen to poetry; the community is open for all. It’s purely focused on encouraging and giving freedom to participants who are willing to express their perspectives through poetry without any judgement. Here, anyone and everyone can recite their poems.

Poetry is all about sharing an individual’s perspective towards the minor philosophical stories surrounding them and their daily life. A recitation which brings out little stories on culture, love, friends, relationships, nature, politics and so much more - expressed in a way where everyone can enjoy and make most of this open mic session. It’s not just poetry, but a freedom of expression.

Unlike other poetry open mic sessions, it’s not only about sharing poems. Here, you also get to connect with other poets / participants, know them and explore a multitude of perspectives. The host will conduct a few activities in between performances, which will help break the ice as well as help in opening up a few more creative ways of expression in you. It's a community. You share, you learn and you get to meet people with mutual interests and philosophical tastes.

Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' if the payment has been processed by High Ape and you will have to contact our representatives for issue of tickets.
Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.
In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
