Kumaraparvatha :: Pushpagiri or Kumara Parvatha, at 1,712 metres, is the highest peak in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Kumara parvatha is second highest peak in Coorg district (Karnataka state) after Tadiandamol peak. Trekking starting point is Kukke Subramanya. Famous Kukke Subramanya temple is located in Subramanya village.
The trail has most stunning escapes of nature enclosed by flora and fauna on either side.
ITINERARY
EXPLORE PEAK and descent back with a spectacular sunset, via bhattaramane for the dinner and retire for the day.
DAY 2: PLAN 1: Wake up 4.30 am desend back to kukke subramanya and have breakfast and reach bangalore 6pm.
PLAN 2: Wake up 5.30am, have breakfast @bhat house and reach bangalore 8pm.
PLAN 1 & 2 DEPENDS ON DECISION OF MAJORITY OF PARTICIPANTS.
ACCOMMODATION: TENTED WITH SLEEPING BAGS PROVIDED.
COST INCLUDES:: Transportation non AC vehicle, forest dept. charges, Basic 1st aid, Coordinator charges, 2 Breakfast, lunch & dinner, (veg food only)
Cost excludes: Final day lunch or any personal expenses.
Things to carry : Torch, personal medications, sunscreen, Hat, 2 litres of water. Extra pair of socks and clothes. Backpack, shoes, Energy Chocolates/Snacks. ID proof.
INDIVIDUAL SLEEPING BAGS WILL BE PROVIDED AND TENTED ACCOMMODATION, PARTICIPANTS NEED TO CARRY ON THEIR OWN FOR 12KMS (TO & FRO)
