Oonaad Bhramantee Is Happy To Invite You For A Monsoon Special Offbeat Trek To Dategad / Sundargad On 25th June, Sunday 2023.

Dategad Is Also Known As Sundargad. Two Unique Temples Can Be Seen On This Fort. There Is A Temple Of Ganapati And Maruti Carved Into Solid Rock. There Are 29 Steps To Get Down To This Temple, There Is No Cover On This Temple. The Square-Shaped Carving Has Idols Of Ganapati Facing South And Maruti Facing West. The Special Feature Of The Temple Is That At Sunrise, The Rays Of The Sun Fall Directly On The Idol Of Ganapati, And At Sunset, The Rays Fall On The Idol Of Maruti.

Excavated In Such A Structure, This Temple Shows The Intellectualism Of The Sculptors Of Ancient History. Sword Shape Well Is An Awesome Architectural Masterpiece. At The Mouth Of The Well Rests A Sacred Shivling. Apart From This Well, There Are A Few Water Cisterns In The Other Part Of The Fort.

This Fort Is Truly A Sight To Behold, Proving Its Name As Sundargad.

12:30 Pm - Start Descending
01:00 Pm - Reach Base Village Have Your Lunch And Rest For A While
02:00 Pm - Depart For Pune
04:00 Pm - Arrival At Limb (Bara Morechi Vihir)
05:00 Pm - Enjoy Evening Tea On The Way.
10.00 Pm - Reach Pune. ( +/- 1hr)

Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.

In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
