The Rock Climbing School at Bhongir came into being on 6th September, 2013. It was founded by Shri Shekhar Babu Bachinepally and Shri Parmesh Kumar. Shekhar Babu is a distinguished mountaineer, who has climbed some of the highest mountains on earth: Everest, Cho-Oyu, Shishapangma, Makalu, and others, for which he was awarded the ‘Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award’ by the President of India. Parmesh is a professional outdoorsman, whose career has spanned over 25 years in the field of rock climbing, mountaineering and other allied adventure sports.
