Beginner's Dot Mandala Workshop
It's a two hour hands on session on 23rd August 2020 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Things you are going to learn:
• How to draw a mandala grid on darker tone paper/surfaces.
• Dotting techniques of different sizes and patterns.
• Pattern practice and use of color combinations.
• How to achieve symmetry.
• How to make dot mandala art without graph with perfection.
• Tips for perfecting dot mandala.
• Various surfaces on which you can make dot mandala art and how you can seal your work.
Note: It is not necessary to use dotting tools. I will share the materials that you can use in place of dotting tools once you confirm your slot.
Limited participants only
Materials you will need for the session:
• White color pencil
• Ruler(perfect if having longscape ruler)
• Compass
• Protractor
• Eraser (if required)
• A rag cloth
• A paint brush
• Choose any one for base material
Canvas(any brand of size : 8"×8"or subject to availability)/
An old plate from home of glass or melamine/
A4 black paper (minimum 160gsm, it should be a thick paper)
• Acrylic colors ( black and white, few of the bright colors)
keep fevicol and water if your colors have thick consistency.
• For tools a short video will be provided after seat confirmation in which you will find how you can use different things from your home for dot mandala. You can also use any other material as a dotting tool,if you find anything else at your place.
