Rantangad Fort is located in Ahamadnagar district. Rantangad Fort base village is Ratanwadi. Rantangad Fort is about 400 years old. Rantangad Fort was captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhosle. Rantangad Fort is also known as Jewels of fort. Rantangad Fort is on the boundary of Ahmadnagar and Thane districts. The fort is origin for the river Pravara/Amrutvahini. The Bhandardara dam (arthar dam) is built on this river. From the top of the fort neighboring forts like Alang, kulang, Madan gad, Harishchandragad, Patta are seen easily. The view of entire Bhandardara dam( Lake Arthur) gives sheer pleasure. There are many rock cut water cisterns on the fort. Some of them store potable water throughout the year. There is a natural hole in the mountain top probably caused by wind erosion. It is 10 feet high and 60 feet wide. Due to its shape it is called Nedhe (or eye of the needlein Marathi).

Backpack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has one’s hands-free while trekking
Double pack your valuables/phones in plastic bags.
Please wear full sleeves t-shirts and long pants.
Identity proof (must).Torch with extra batteries.
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.
1 packet of electoral, enerzal, gluon-D
Two liter Water/as per requirment.
Avoid wear Gold and other ornaments.
Medicine those if you require usually.
Odomos gel or cream to avoid mosquitoes or insect.
Bear good trekking shoes.

Participants suffering from chronic condition like asthma, bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes, joint pain, fracture, ask advice to family doctor before join Trek/any adventure activity.
Adventure activity (Trekking, Camping, Rappelling, and Cycling) can be reason of harmful/dangerous/Disability/ Death. In case of any misshape happing; Mumbai Mountain Hiker will not be responsible
All participant should be careful for bag and own things. If anything misplaced group leader/ Mumbai mountain Hiker will not be responsible.
On the event trek leader decision will be final decision no argument will be entertain.

Any type of drug consumption is not acceptable before and during the event. It can be harmful/reason of death. In that condition trek leader/trekking group will not be responsible.
