Overview

Harihar Fort is, located in the Igatpuri region of the Western Ghats. Situated at an altitude of about 3, 676 ft above sea level, this unique fort is built on a triangular prism of rock. A small temple and a cave with water, situated on the top, are worth visiting. Thrilling spot: Rock-cut steps at an angle of almost 80 degrees vertical. While climbing the fort, we come across a rock sheet, which has got steps carved into it. Also, many grooves have been carved here for additional support. After climbing these steps, we get up to the entrance door.

02:45 Am - Get Freshen Up & Gear Up For The Trek.
03:00 Am - Start The Trek With A Small Warm-Up Walk.
04:30 Am - Reach Machi And Take Some Rest
06:00 Am - Reach The Top, Explore The Fort, And Enjoy The View Of The Surrounding
07:00 Am - Start Descending Back To The Base
09:30 Am - Reach Base Village And Have Breakfast
10:00 Am - Start The Return Journey Towards Kasara Railway Station
12:00 Pm - Reach Kasara Station And Take A Return Train To Mumbai
02:00 Pm - Reach Mumbai.

People in an inebriated state will not be given entry.

Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.

In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
