About
A serene seaside destination, Tarkarli lies in the heart of Malvan, part of the Konkan coast in western Maharashtra. Located at the convergence of the Karli river and the Arabian Sea, Tarkarli’s beautiful beaches stretch across the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra that borders Goa.
Why should you do it?
In just two days there is a lot this tour has to offer, you get to experience Scuba Diving, Dolphins, Banana Ride, Bumper Ride, Sleeping bumper ride, Jet Ski, Speed Boat Ride, Parasailing and more.
All adventures are of easy to moderate difficulty level. These are experiences you must have at least once in your lifetime.
Brief Itinerary
Day 1: Evening: Take a train from Mumbai to reach Tarkarli next morning
Day 2: Water Sports – (Banana Ride, Bumper Ride, Sleeping bumper ride, Jet Ski, Speed Boat Ride), Parasailing on the beach
Day 3: Sightseeing- (Rock garden, Chivla beach and Sindudurg fort), Scuba Diving, Evening time on the beach and Leave for Mumbai
Day 4: Reach Mumbai Early morning
Detailed Itinerary
Day1 Evening: Take a train from Mumbai to Kudal around 10 pm. People coming from other cities can contact us to plan out their journey from their respective location to Tarkarli. We’ll be making a WhatsApp group a few days before the trip to share your train seating information
Day 2: Water Sports and Parasailing.
Check in at 10 am. Rest for a while after the overnight journey. Freshen up, have delicious breakfast leave for water sports, which is 3km from the hotel, 10 mins journey. Water sports will include Banana Rides, Bumper Ride, Jet Ski, Speed Boat Ride, and Parasailing on the beach. Lunch at a beachside hotel. Later in the afternoon play beach games and enjoy our time to the fullest. By evening we will be back to the hotel for Dinner and Spend the better half of the night playing games, sharing stories, singing songs, and have long conversations.
Day 3: Sightseeing, Scuba Diving and Evening time on the beach and leave for Mumbai post dinner
Leave early in the morning by 7 am for Devbag beach which is 6km from the hotel, 10 mins journey. On arrival at a jetty, we will check in the boat and start sightseeing. We will visit Bhogve beach, Devbag Sangam- where the Karli river meets the Arabian sea, Seagulls birds point and go on Dolphin safari. Believe me, watching this fabulous creature frolicking in water is a sight that will remain with you forever. Our next destination will be the Tsunami island where we will spend an hour exploring the beautiful beach and exemplary scenic beauty of the island. Return to hotel for Breakfast.
After breakfast, we leave for scuba diving, 15 mins boat journey from the seashore. An instructor will provide basic training before entering the vibrant underwater world teeming with marine life. Swim alongside placid turtles, curious schools of colorful fish and the occasional wary shark as you explore Tarkarli’s thriving coral reefs. The trilling dive will last for half an hour. After the dive we will collect the underwater photo and video shooting, which I know, you will not wait to share on all your social media handles. Then we shall return to the hotel and have lunch.
Post lunch, we shall move to the Sindudurg fort to witness the adorable sunset. Also have some fun at the beach. Post dinner we shall start our journey back to Mumbai.
Day 4: Reach Mumbai in the early morning with one of most exhilarating experiences of life and a list of new friends. The tour ends once we reach Mumbai.
