Wanted Yesterday is a brainchild of Rajeev Raja and Subhash Kamath. This band borrowed its name from a popular catchphrase used in the ad world “This is wanted yesterday” and also because they play music from the rocking era of the 60s and 70s. In other words, the name itself defines this band, their music and what to expect from them.
The band is highly inspired by J J Cale, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Bob Dylan and other classic blues and rock musical numbers. However, this band adds their own style and interprets those songs in such a way that they sound refreshing and interesting.
