What are the attractions of Kumara Parvatha Trek?
The main attractions of Kumara Parvatha Trek are the stunning beauty of Pushpagiri Range of Western Ghats. This place is nestled amid this range which makes the entire uphill trek charming and breathtaking. The gorgeous landscapes with unbelievable flora and fauna are the main highlights of this place.
Other than the scenic beauty, we will be taking you to a nearby waterfall on Day 2 of your Trek. The gentle shower of the cool water is the best way to relax your body and the sight of the lush green vegetation ensures to ease your mind and soul.
How can I reach Kumara Parvatha from Bangalore?
The pickup and drop facilities to and from Bangalore for Kumara Parvatha Trek is provided by us. We have three pickup locations in Bangalore and you can choose as per your convenience. The same goes for the drop facility.
Which days can i avail this package?
Kumara Parvatha Trekking is available once a week. It takes place every Saturday. Your overnight journey from Bangalore to the trek location will begin on Friday and you will start with your trek on Saturday morning.
After your trek, you will be dropped back to Bangalore on Sunday.
What is the total trek distance?
The total trek distance to and from Kumara Parvatha is 22 Kilometres. The difficulty level of the entire trek trail is moderate to difficult and mostly goes through the forests. Men, women and children can take part in this expedition but need to be physically fit and strong.
Is this trek safe for Solo Travelers and Female Travelers?
Kumara Parvatha trek is completely safe for the solo and female travellers. Their safety is our prime responsibility and we ensure to provide all facilities keeping in mind their safety and well-being. We have had a lot of solo and female trekkers with us and we completely understand their needs.
Separate dormitories are provided to boys and girls for their comfort and proper pickup and drop facilities are provided in Bangalore.
What is the batch size usually?
Usually, the batch size is between 10-12 people. This includes men, women and children. We do not believe in increasing the number beyond this as it might get very crowded and chaotic.
We stick to a maximum of 25 people so that our guides can pay attention to each and every trekker going with us.
What are the pickup points available from Bangalore?
We provide three pickup points from Bangalore and you can choose as per your convenience. The first pickup point is scheduled around 7:30 PM. At this time, get picked up from Baroda Bank at Koramangala Water Tank. Opp. Mr. Beans – Home Cafe.
The second pickup is scheduled at around 08:00 PM from New Shanti Sagar Hotel at HAL Road, Near Domlur Bridge. The last pickup is scheduled at around 9:00 PM, from MG Road outside Hard Rock Cafe near Anil Kumble Signal to begin your overnight journey.
Can we consume alcohol during the trek to Kumara Parvatha?
Consumption of alcohol during your Kumara Parvatha trek is strictly prohibited. Anyone found doing so will not be allowed to join us for the trek. No alcohol should be taken from the start point of your trek, that is, from your onwards journey to Coorg till the time you reach back Bangalore after the trek.
What is the night stay option available?
You will be provided with dormitories for your night stay. Separate dormitories are given to boys and girls so that they feel comfortable and at ease.
Which meals are included in the package?
The entire trip will only have vegetarian food served. You will be given breakfast on Day 1 when you reach the camping site. Early lunch is provided which you may carry while trekking (as per your choice). Dinner is served once you reach back the campsite after your trekking expedition. On Day 2, breakfast is provided by us and lunch is self-sponsored on your way back to Bangalore.
Will food and safe drinking water be provided during Kumara Parvatha Trekking?
Yes, food and water will be given during Kumara Parvatha trekking. Breakfast and lunch will be given on Day 1, before starting your trek. Dinner is served after the completion of your trek on Day 1. Only breakfast will be given on Day 2 of your excursion.
What is the Best time to go for Kumara Parvatha Trek?
The best time to go for Kumara Parvatha Trekking is during the winter that is between October to January. The winters in South is not harsh and offers a pleasant atmosphere to trek. The summers are not that great to trek here.
It might get scorching hot and humid which can be a torment to the trekkers. The monsoons between June to September is also a good time to go for trekking. The weather is nice, hills bloom in thick vegetation, flora and fauna are at its best.

What kind of clothes and equipment should I carry?
Dry fruits, energy bar and energy drink, 4 litre of water, Personal medication, Tissue paper, extra pair of clothes, Trekking shoes or comfortable shoes with good griping, torch Caps or hats to avoid direct sun, Comfortable clothes for trekking and nightwear, Sunscreen lotion, moisturizers or skin ointments , Mosquito or other insect repellents Sunglasses and camera (if necessary).
What is the level of difficulty of Kumara Parvatha Trek?
Level of difficulty will be easy to moderate for the trek to Kumara Parvatha.
What is the level of fitness expected from the participants?
A basic level of fitness is called for but no prior experience or hill walking or trekking is needed.

What are the basic inclusions in the package?
Pickup and drop facilities to and from Bangalore are included in your package. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included for Day 1. Breakfast is included for Day 2. For night stay, separate accommodation to boys and girls is provided in dormitories.
Sleeping bags are included in your package. Experienced guides and trek facilitators who will be guiding you through the trek is provided. Permission from the forest department is taken by us and no extra cost is chargeable.
First aid kit is included in order to meet any unforeseen accidents like cuts, bruises or any other minor injuries. Visit a nearby waterfall on Day 2 is included in your package too.
