Firefly, every year before monsoon we celebrate the firefly festival. End of May and the start of June firefly are started to be visible. There are some locations in Maharashtra Firefly are spotted and a huge amount of people use to go for fireflies. FireFly belongs to the Lampyridae family of insects. They have a soft body. The female fly attracts the Male fly for matting which is why they produce light.

Pabalmachi is situated between Matheran and Panvel in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. Prabalmachi is base village of Klavantina and Prabalgad. The Altitude of Prabalgad is around 2300 ft from sea level. Earlier Prabalgad known as Muranjan. This fort was captured by Maratha Empire in 1657 and MURANJAN was renamed as Prabalgad. It is sister fort is Irasalgad. Right next to Prabalgad, Northside V shape Klavantin Fort is there. Prabalgad Fort of the build by the Bahamani Sultan. They were use it as a watch tower and kept an eye on the Konkan region.\
