Bhandardara Fireflies Trail & Camping Hosted by Adventure Club Pune

Adventure Club Pune invites you to witness one of nature’s most enchanting spectacles – the Bhandardara Fireflies Festival.

Set in the serene Sahyadri ranges, Bhandardara transforms into a glowing forest as thousands of fireflies light up the night sky just before the monsoon arrives. It’s a surreal experience of nature’s bioluminescent magic that must be seen to be believed.

Disconnect from the city chaos and reconnect with nature in this peaceful, soul-refreshing getaway.

Itinerary

Day 1

03:00 PM: Arrive at Bhandardara in the afternoon and check in to the camping site
04:00 PM: Relax and explore the surrounding areas, Tent allotment
05:00 PM: Evening High tea and snacks
06:00 PM: Return to the tents and rest
08:00 PM: Bonfire and activities
09:30 PM: Enjoy a delicious dinner at the camping site
10:30 PM: After dinner, take a trail to spot fireflies in the nearby forest
11:00 PM: Reach the Firefly's spots and observe the mesmerizing display of Fireflies
11:30 PM: Briefing on fireflies and their habitat by a local expert
01:00 AM: Return to the campsite and spend the night in tents

Day 2:

06:00 AM: Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the hills
08:00 AM: Have breakfast at the campsite
10:00 AM: Check-out from the campsite (Self-drive batch)
10:30 AM: Depart for Pune/Kasara/Mumbai
06:00 PM: Reach Pune/Mumbai and bid adieu to your fellow trekkers.

Pickup locations from Kasara:

Travelers joining from Kasara are supposed to join us at Kasara Railway Station by 1 pm.

Note

Silence during firefly spotting (no flash or loud noise)
Music will be turned off by 10:00 PM
Respect locals, nature, and fellow campers
Follow the guide's instructions, especially during trails
Camp property damage will be chargeable
Firefly sightings depend on weather and season (best May-June), for non-sightings, refund will not be provided.
Throwing garbage on trails is strictly not allowed.
Playing loud music in the mountains/Forest is prohibited.
Trek Leader's decisions on any particular situation will be final for the mutual benefit of the participants.
If the behavior of any trekker is likely to cause distress or harm to themselves, our member of staff or other team members, reserve the right to terminate their trip at any time and they will have to make their own arrangements; we will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a result. We will not entertain any claims arising due to such action.
In case of any injuries/illness on a mountain/river/waterfall during a trip/activity, Adventure Club Pune as a company or our local staff will not be responsible. We provide adequate human staff support in these areas to ensure the basic safety of the trekker. The participants must bear all the expenses that may arise in case of medical necessity or emergency conditions.
Wearing any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. is prohibited.
You should strictly follow the code of conduct, to avoid troubling our fellow trekkers or other people from our group or outside.

High Ape is not responsible for any injury or damage occurring due to the event.
People in an inebriated state will not be given entry.
Being only a ticketing portal, High Ape does not take any responsibility for the activities going on inside or outside the event, as the entire responsibility of it is of the organizer/venue.

Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket would lead to seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
Alcohol (if available) will be served only to guests above the legal drinking age (LDA) and on display of valid age proof.
In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' if the payment has been processed by High Ape and you will have to contact our representatives for issue of tickets.
Arms and ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol is not allowed from outside to the event. Food and beverages will be available inside the event.
Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.
Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.
In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
