About Prana:

It is a band out of Mumbai that aims to bring us back to our roots while still exploring the beauty found in the unity of sounds from across the world.

Prana is barely a year old and is making inroads in the Mumbai music scene with the interesting combination of their song selection and fusing style with the lead singer's dulcet voice supported with both the western acoustic guitar and the Indian classical Sarod.

It is a budding multi-genre fusion band fresh off of their hit cover, A Thousand Years + Lag Ja Gale.

Prana's lead singer Ansh offers a soulful baritone that effortlessly sings your favorite Sufi harkats, soulful and masti-bhare Bollywood songs, and adds a modern flair with English pop and rock fusion.

Yash on the Sarod adds a beautiful & unique classical Indian vibe to the band’s sound, and modernizes the way the Sarod is played, making this heritage instrument newly relevant for today's audience.

Prana also plays with session guitarists and session percussionists.
