Frozen Chimes - Thursday Live

Somewhere in the spring of 2009, two long-lost classmates Benazir Sahil a.k.a Banjo and Nihal Amolik a.k.a Baba and one long-lost mate Ankit Mishra a.k.a Mintoo started Frozen Chimes with the two suns in the sunset on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. The pop baba Hiren Katkar a.k.a Rowdy Headbanger joined the bandwagon in April 2009.

Since then the band has played in basements on rooftops, from local college gigs to being a part of IIT and Strawberry Fields finals. They bring in a multi-linguistic alt genre with groovy flavors. With a few lineup changes and lots of ups and downs, the band decided to stick to a 3 piece outfit and share vocal duties among themselves. Experimenting and challenging each one best is the way they create music. The band enjoys the interaction with the audience since they believe we all face similar situations in life and express it through our music.
