Cease and Sekkle with Collido, Akhil and Gram

COLLIDO

Collido is a Delhi-based electronic music collective comprising of Sahil Singh & Ardaman Dua. Formed in 2011, the project aims at providing a unique dance experience to the underground space in the country. Their sound can be characterized by driving & chunky basslines with resonating synths and melodies. They mainly play a Techno and Deep House set which is influenced by artists such as Oliver Koletzki, Maceo Plex, Oliver Giacomotto but also have an alternative Disco/Nu Disco set. The duo also has been active in the music industry for a long time with their own event management firm by the name of Night vibe which has been responsible for bringing down reputed artists to Delhi over the years, not only providing the city with several quality gigs but also helping the underground music scene grow.

AKHIL

Akhil was always interested in music ever since his teenage days. His passion made him travel the world and experience various music, cultures and the nightlife of several countries which exposed him to the world of underground music. His love for music led him to join the biggest music and lifestyle TV channel in the country - Vh1. Akhil also moonlights occasionally as a DJ creating his unique dancefloor vibe, mixing up a groovy deep house and techno tunes.

GRAM

Gram doesn’t bracket himself into any particular genre but prefers to experiment with the beats to tease and play with the crowds, easily becoming an entertainer. Combining sounds from around the world, Gram has been getting crowds to groove to his tunes for the past year and is now also working on producing some spacey and bouncy sounds.

Some of his earliest musical influences can be traced back to straight up metal like Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Opeth, Between the Burried & Me, Iron Maiden & the likes of Pearl Jam

However, Gram’s current list of sound-picks includes Pan-Pot, Tommy Four Seven, Loco Dice, to some like Skeng, Lil Wayne, Diplo & Major Lazer, or the dirty bass by Mala, Loefah, and RL Grime. And some nights also call for bringing out the tracks by Jon Hopkins, Four Tet, Bonobo, and the likes.
