  • Silent valley view point : Situated at a short distance from Pillar rocks, it can be seen from the Berijam lake road. The best time to visit this is early in the morning or late afternoon. This is a deep valley and is known for tranquil, picturesque views of lush greenery & trees below.
  • Fire tower : This was built by the Forest department to monitor forest fires. But the general public is also allowed to go up here and enjoy the breathtaking view of the forest below.

  • Berijam lake view : Located about 23 km away from the Kodai bus stand, Berijam Lake is one the most popular tourist spots in Kodaikanal. The lake with its refreshing setting and lush greenery around makes for an amazing picnic spot. Reaching the lake is not a difficult task as it is connected by a well-tarred road. However, one requires a forest pass for entering the area. You can easily get the passes from District Forest Office which provides free passes to the tourists. If interested in fishing, one can indulge in the activity after seeking fishing permission from the Fisheries Department. Apart from all this, if interested, one can go for boat trip and experience the beauty around in a much better way. There is also a 100 year old -story brick building in Berijam which also makes for interesting sightseeing.

  • Caps fly view : You can see the emerald valley below from here occasionally blanketed by the cotton bales of white fog, which is above picture perfect. The panoramic view of this point assures that the sightseers expend a substantial amount of time watching the lovely beauty. Wear good footwear on this trip. It's very wet around Kodai and the mountain trails are quite slippery.

  • Mathikettan Solai : This is a forest patch near Berijam lake and is significant as one of the largest contigous sholas in the upper Palani. The name is roughly translated from Tamil which means "Where one loses oneself"

  • Berijam lake : This is a beautiful lake  with an amazing surrounding. There are also small mountains where you can spot Bison grazing grass. You may not spot them easily as they live inside the forest. There are small forest houses and they look like a scene from Scotland.

  • Kodai lake : How can someone visit Kodaikanal and not visit the most famous tourist attraction  there? Kodaikanal Lake is actually a man-made lake but is very beautiful with its green surroundings. Kodaikanal Lake covers a sprawling area of 60 acres and has a star shape. The lake receives water from the Palani Hills and Silver Cascade Waterfalls which is another very famous attraction in Kodaikanal. You can also see a variety of flora, fauna, and aquatic animals. Also, you can spot Kurinji Flower which is peculiar to the Lake. You can also take up several activities like boating, cycling, and others. There are many stalls too from where you can shop for woollen clothes and other stuff. Cycling is a must to experience here because the area you will be cycling on is very gorgeous.
