Eleven kilometres deep into the dense forest with not a trace of civilisation. The only lights you will ever see is fireflies flitting by on a warm summer night. We are located deep in the forest of Sakelshpur, a place like no other. Filled with flora and fauna and a ecologically sensitive zone our surroundings need protection and respect. 

We adhere to a strict eco policy for minimising impact to the bio-habitat and to preserve the rich ecosystem of the western ghats. 
Though we offer an experience of the deep rainforest without compromising on hygiene, amenities and comfort we would like to reiterate and be understood that it is a no-frills nature retreat and not a luxury resort. 

Prior to any booking with us we request guests to be well aware of terrain conditions present in an eco resort with its limitations and challenges of being situated out in the woods. 
We would love to host nature conscious campers to experience the natural beauty of the western ghats.

Things we do to sustain our ecosystem:

• We’re a no plastic zone.
• No loud music / noise or litter permitted.
• Community based management in the true sense as 90% of our permanent / temporary staff are locals from the village, at the fringe of the forest.
• A proven premise that the people living next to a resource are the ones best suited to protecting it.
• Employing locals as trek guides, jeep drivers, and maintenance staff and also to work in the store & house keeping deptt.
• We promote Local enterprise of forest / local produce (honey, spices etc ) an initiative of western ghats wilderness org for environment sustainable economic development.
• Using only renewable source of energy, as power is harnessed by a hydro-turbine from the stream.
• Handling organic waste disposal efficiently by composting.

Extra charges - 
Rs 800 per person. Campsite only accessible by 4X4 jeeps.
