Bio :

Very few have been as closely associated with India’s dance music scene as Ashvin Mani Sharma aka Calm Chor has. Ashvin’s 17-year long career has seen him storm dancefloors around the globe, from Paradiso in Amsterdam to Blue Frog in Mumbai, first with Jalebee Cartel, and after that under his solo techno avatar Calm Chor.

In the year 2013, Ashvin co-founded Soupherb records, along with his friend and fellow artist/DJ – Ash Roy. In a span of 2, Soupherb records have built a reputation to be India’s finest underground dance music record label.

Apart from being label head, producer, DJ & A&R at Soupherb records, Calm Chor also represents Bass 9 records for A&R.
Ashvin is constantly touring India, owing to his distinct sound and enthralling sets. Every summer he tours Germany extensively for over 2 months (for 5 years now), playing at some of the best festivals and clubs in the country.
2014 saw him visit the USA for the first time, where he got an opportunity to perform at the prestigious Burning Man festival.

Feb 2015 saw Calm Chor release his massive 8-track EP “Dancefloor Sci-Fi”, displaying his unique style in full force, on homegrown label Soupherb records. The EP went on to grab multiple spots on various charts on the world’s biggest online music portal, Beatport. It climbed to the #2 spot on the worldwide minimal charts and claimed that spot for a few days, staying in the top 10 for nearly 3 weeks, and even hit the Beatport overall Top 100 releases and stayed there for a long period of time.

Nitin’s journey in music: Playing all around the countries clubs and bars, honing his skills and developing his style of music. It was on his frequent trips to Goa that he first discovered Goa trance and the vibrant scene that psychedelic music has to offer. From then on it has been a long journey learning the music and the subtle nuances of the style.
Psytrance being his true passion, Nitin has spent the last 14 years of his Career dedicated to this style. He is one of the nation’s foremost trance DJ’s playing some of the biggest parties and festivals around the globe such as SUNBURN GOA, HILLTOP XMAS -NYE-HILLTOP FESTIVAL, UNIVERSAL RELIGION NEPAL, MODEM FESTIVAL CROATIA 2016 and many more.

NITIN has played alongside all the top Psy trance acts in the world to name a few such as ACE VENTURA, ASTRIX, AJJA, SPHONGLE, GMS, NEELIX, TRISTAN and many more the list of which is just too large to mention here. If psytrance is your sound – you will not be disappointed with this dance floor destroyer. An active part of Hilltop Goa which showcases India’s no.1 festival Hilltop festival and the prestigious Hilltop Christmas and the New Years Eve every year.

Shreyas begun his career in early 2011 in Bangalore (India), with over half a decade of experience behind him, his undying passion for music resonates through his DJ sets which string together hypnotic, deep and atmospheric tonalities with darker and more musically inclined melodic phrases, stitched together to form a journey of its own.
His primary motivation comes from the dance floor, channeling the energy of the crowd to improvise and create a unique blend of what’s required for the moment.
