Covered with a vast expanse of lush green forests, the Kotagiri Trek is the perfect amalgamation of nature, serenity and cuisine. A typical forest trail crosses emerald blue lakes, frothy waterfalls and a large ambit of tree plantations. It is characterised by very rich plant diversity and exotic and endemic animal species along with two endangered animals – Lion-Tailed Macaque and Nilgiri Tahr. Pack your bags to wander in the wilderness and be mesmerised by the beauty of sheer beauty of the Nilgiri mountain range. Experience the cool weather and be bewitched by the aroma of tea gardens. Spend a night in a tent, under a star-lit sky and share some exciting stories with strangers over the barbeque. Travel! Before you run out of time.Spend some time in the lap of nature, away from the work deadlines and concrete life. Pitching tents in the wilderness, making barbeque, relaxing in the undulating hills, all this surely will be a concoction of thrill and delight.

Reach the Campsite by 8:30 AM – freshen up and have breakfast
Start the Kotagiri Ridge Trek
Have packed lunch during the trek
Explore the Tea Estates
Enjoy the sunset from Nilgiri Valley
Return to the Campsite by evening
Have dinner around a bonfire and spend the night stargazing

DAY 2

Visit the Foothi
lls of the Dale River
Visit the Ooty Tea Factory
Depart for Bangalore, and have a self-sponsored lunch on the way
Reach Bangalore By 10 PM

Advisory

Please carry a xerox copy of your Voter ID/Aadhar card as the same is mandatorily required to obtain permits from the forest department.
Non-Indian nationals will have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 1,225 towards forest permits.
Consumption of alcohol, intoxicants and smoking would not be tolerated during the entire course of the journey and the trek. Kindly co-operate with us to make the experience more fun.
Do not expect any luxuries on the trip. The locations that we host are at remote places and we do our best to arrange the basic facilities. The goal is to be outdoors.
The Food that shall be provided will be Basic Veg Food. We do not serve Non-Veg Food.
Put Litter in its place, do not trash your travel.
Plan The Unplanned shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewellery etc. Kindly do take care.
In the case of traffic delays or breakdowns, expect a little delay in reaching the destination.

Please carry a valid ID proof along with the valid ticket.
High Ape is not responsible for any injury or damage occurring due to the event.
Being only a ticketing portal, High Ape does not take any responsibility for the activities going on inside or outside the event, as the entire responsibility of it is of the organizer/venue.
Please go through the details on the Event Details Tab and the Checkout page thoroughly before booking the tickets, as the tickets which are NOT booked in compliance with it will not come in the ambit of discussion.
Internet handling fee per ticket applied. Please check your total amount before payment.
Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket would lead to seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' if the payment has been processed by High Ape and you will have to contact our representatives for issue of tickets.
Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.

Cancellation policy:

If you cancel 7 days before the date of event:
- 95% refund will be provided. (Payment gateway charges will be deducted)
If you cancel 3-6 days before the date of event:
- 50 % of the actual amount of the trek. (Payment gateway charges will be deducted)
If you cancel 48 hours before the date of event:
- No refund would be provided.
- Last minute cancellations due to work, health issues etc. would not be entertained and no refund or transfer shall be allowed for the same.
Additional charges would be deducted (based on from where you booked) if you cancel the trek at any given date (along with the scenario described above), as payment gateway/event listing charges.
For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard earned money.

Shifting of dates policy:

If you wish to shift your date of booking due to any unforeseen circumstances, the same should be intimated to us not less than 72 hours before the date of event.
Only one transfer per booking shall be permitted. Your booking shall stand cancelled if you fail to join the event on the transferred dates.
Once the option of date transfer is made, the booking amount shall be held as credits with us and in no case will a refund be made further on.
