Come, quench your wanderlust by joining Muddie Trails on this exciting journey to one of the most beautiful places you can ever trek to!
Experience the Western Ghats at it’s best on this majestic mountain that has a thick forest, grasslands, chilling waterfalls in between and then a thrilling ridge walk. The landscapes that you will see from the top of the mountain is just mind-blowing.

The hike, though it’s awesome, will take its toll on your body. So we shall take a Jeep ride back to base-camp.The majestic Kodachadri is relatively close to the Arabian Sea. How can we miss the beaches when we are traveling so close to the west coast? Let’s also head to the most happening Malpe beach of Udupi & walk barefoot on the beach sand. There’s also plenty of mouth-watering Sea-food there for the foodie in you.

All in all, it’s a trek that cannot be missed!

Accommodation: At a warm welcoming home stay at Kodachadri basecamp!
Travel: A tempo/mini-bus depending on final numbers (NON AC)
Trek difficulty level: Moderate to high
Trek distance: 10 kms hike, return by Jeep
Food: 2 Breakfasts, 1 Lunch, Dinner - all pure veg included
Pick-up/Drop points: Tin Factory, Indiranagar 100 ft Road, Koramangala Sony World signal, Goraguntepalya Metro station

Schedule

Day 0 (Friday):

Start from Bangalore, overnight journey of 8 hours to Kodachadri homestay

Day 1 (Saturday):

Reach homestay, freshen up and have breakfast
Start the hike after grabbing your packed lunch
Play under awesome waterfalls en-route, revel at one of the most beautiful natural setting as you hike up through dense forest and rich vegetation
Walk on the thrilling ridge to view stunning valleys as you approach the peak of probably the most beautiful mountain - Kodachadri
After conquering the mountain, revel at the awesome landscape amidst the clouds, cool breeze hitting your face, relax for a while, rejuvenate and soothe your soul
We will just do one way hike. Will take a Jeep ride back to the base camp
Campfire with long conversations & well deserved hot dinner
Social gathering with light music till late night

Day 2 (Sunday):

Wake up, freshen up and have breakfast
Drive towards west coast & reach colorful & buzzing Malpe beach
Walk barefoot on the beach. The Beaches are so pretty during the monsoons though we can't play in water. The beautiful setting of monsoon showers wetting the beaches is worth the visit, anytime!
Break for Lunch
Take a 2 hour cool off period where travelers may disperse and visit any extra place on their own (Like the famous Udupi temple)
Shop for souvenirs and goodies at the local flea market near Malpe
Try some delicious street food for early dinner
Start back to Bangalore late evening and reach home early Monday morning

Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.
Venue rules apply.
No alcohol & smoking during Treks & adventure activities. There would be separate window and space (usually at night) to have these at campsite/homestay for interested people
No Luxury. We assure awesome memories every trip, but not awesome facilities! We provide basic facilities in terms of food, travel & accommodation.
The itinerary is fixed. No special requests to change itinerary/schedule are permitted
Absolutely No littering during our travels. We swear to protect our environment.
Co-operate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travelers won’t miss out on the real fun part – that is traveling.
Every traveler is responsible for his/her for your own safety while traveling with Muddie Trails. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travelers.
Every traveler is expected to sign a liability/waiver form given by the organizer(s) after boarding the vehicle that discharges Muddie Trails of any unexpected incident like injury/death/theft etc.
Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions etc. In most cases, if the time permits, organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether.
Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics and religion/caste/race.
Using foul or abusive language, eve teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s) and/or involving in physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by Muddie Trails.

Refund policy:

80% refund before 48 hours of event start time
No refund within 48 hours of event start time whatever be the reason (Health, Accident, Family crisis, Office issue or anything else)
No refund during/after the event
