Kodachadri is a mountain peak with dense forests in the Western Ghats in South India 78km from Shimoga. It is declared as natural heritage site by the Karnataka Government. and it is 13th highest peak of Karnataka.

Itinerary

Day 1 Depart from Bangalore

We start from Bangalore on Friday night.
Pick up from Domlur at 21:30 PM
Pick up from Lifestyle at 22:00 PM
Pick up from Elite Restaurant Yesvantpur at 23:00 PM & we continue our journey to Kodachadri.

Day 2 Trek to Kodachadri

After arriving in Kodachadri at 06:30 AM, Participants will be given time for freshen up & then we have Breakfast and start trekking towards Kodachadri peak at 08:30 AM. We would reach the peak by 12:30 PM and have packed lunch and take some rest for a while. Later by 13:30 we start climbing down to base camp which might take again 3 hrs approximately. Once we reach homestay, Tea/Coffee with snacks will be provided & participants can get freshen up to enjoy campfire.
By 20:00 PM have dinner and Overnight stay at Dormitories. (Separate Dormitories for Male & Female)

Day 3 Depart to Bangalore

Wake up at 06:00 AM have freshen up & Breakfast & Depart to Bangalore. On the way we would visit Nagara fort and stop at a restaurant for Lunch. We reach back to Bangalore by 20:00 PM.

Covid-19 Precautionary Measures

• Wearing a mask when around people is mandatory for everyone.

• Every individual travelling with us have to carry a personal sanitizer.

• We request every individual to share their basic information such as name, secondary contact; Government issued ID proof and provide their consent for us to share these details if requested to Health officials.

• A mandatory temperature check will be performed at the boarding point for each individual. We would request everyone to please co-operate with the Group lead on this.

• Any individual showing potential Covid-19 like symptoms and their companions will not be allowed to be part of the trek. They will be moved to an isolation facility or will contact the Health Authorities.

• Every individual is requested to Install the Aarogya Setu app and keep your Bluetooth on to ensure the contact tracing and safety of everyone.

• People >60 years and <10 years of age, with comorbidities, Pregnant woman are advised not to register.

• We will be limiting the number of bookings accepted for each hike to maintain social distancing. However it will be individual call to sit together.

• Considering the safety of everyone, we will be frequently sanitizing the Homestay and Vehicles.

Please carry a valid ID proof along with the valid ticket.

People in an inebriated state will not be given entry.

Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket would lead to seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
Alcohol (if available) will be served only to guests above the legal drinking age (LDA) and on display of valid age proof.
In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' if the payment has been processed by High Ape and you will have to contact our representatives for issue of tickets.
Arms and ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol is not allowed from outside to the event. Food and beverages will be available inside the event.
Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.
Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.
In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
