How about a trip which makes you wander back in time ? Then, look no further and join the Monks on Wheels as we explore the rich heritage history of HAMPI with a little adventure added to it.
Short Description of Hampi:- Hampi, a village and a temple town in Karnataka is one of the most historically rich places. Listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Site as the Group of monuments at Hampi, this city was also at one point one of the richest cities in the world when it was in its peak. As per statistics of the year 2014, Hampi is said to be the most searched places of Karnataka online. People who visit Hampi are mostly people who love history and architecture. It is no surprise that Hampi is such a famous place for tourists that visit from all over the globe.
The trip cost includes :
1. Meals: Breakfast on Day 1 & 2.
2. Accommodation on sharing basis.
3. Campfire (if weather permits)
4. All the activities mentioned in the itinerary are included in the package.
5. First Aid kit in case of emergencies. (We hope we don't have any)
6. Certified Guide charges
7. Temple Permits
8. Activity Instructor charges
9. Equipment charges
10. Transport to and fro Bengaluru
Exclusions:-
Lunch on Day 1 & 2 and Dinner Day other things not mentioned above.
Note:-
1) People have the option to make their own transportation arrangements(car/bike/public transport).
2) Accommodation will be on sharing basis.
3) We need a minimum of 9 people to conduct the event or the event might be cancelled with full refund.
4) We need a minimum of 5 bikes to organize a bike ride or else they have to reach the location provided by us on their own at the mentioned time.
The surroundings around the Home stay will make you feel very close to Nature.
We would like to reiterate & be understood that it is a no-frills nature retreat & not a luxury resort.

Day 0
I)Departure from Bangalore - 10:30 PM
Note:- People in TT/Mini Bus need to have dinner before the journey.
Day 1
I) Reach homestay, Freshen up and Have Breakfast.
II) Grab a cycle and Start the Heritage Cycle ride in Hampi which concentrates on the architecture and history of Vijayanagara Empire that will be explained by a certified guide who will accompany us.
III) Have lunch (Self-sponsored)
IV) After lunch, continue the cycle ride exploring many more monuments till evening.
V) Head back to campsite, Freshen up and Gather for Campfire(depends on weather conditons)
VI) Enjoy around bonfire followed by dinner (Self-sponsored)
VII) End it all with staying in room/tents.
Note:
i) A support vehicle shall be called at the earliest for the cycle ride so if there is any problem or emergency we will have backup ready.
ii) Also before the start of the ride all the cycles will be checked for conditon of the cycle, saddle height, brakes etc.
iii) Accomodation will be on sharing basis.
Day 2
I) Wake up early in the morning and start sport climbing and bouldering with all safety gears along with professional instructors.
II) Have Breakfast after the adventure sport and start the return journey to Bengaluru.
III) Have lunch and dinner (both Self-sponsored) enroute.
IV) Return to Bengaluru at approx 11:30 PM
Note:
i) All adventure activities will be carried out under the supervision of trained professionals. We request everyone not to try any activities without the consent of the instructors.
1. What's the difference between 'with transport cost' ticket and 'without transport cost' ticket ?
A: In all our events we provide the choice to our clients to make their own transport arrangements, either a car or a bike i.e without transport. Alternatively they could join our trip by opting for our transport service i.e with transport cost.
2. What kind of transport will be arranged by Monks on Wheels ?
A: We will be arranging a non-AC tempo traveller or a mini bus depending on the group size.
3. From where will the transportation be arranged ?
A: The transport will be arranged from Bengaluru.
4. Where will be pick up points be in Bengaluru ?
A: We will be having multiple pick up points in Bengaluru and the same will be conveyed with timings only 2-3 days before the event.
5. Where should we join, in case we are coming by our own transport arrangements ?
A: Once your registration is confirmed, we shall provide the exact location of our venue 2-3 days before the event.
6. Is there any age limit for the trip ?
A: We do not restrict on the age as each individual has their own capabilities. But we would strongly recommend you contact us so that our travel expert can give you a better idea of the trip.
7. What kind of events are these ?
A: These are group events open to all categories of people.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:
1. If the notice is received more than 20 days prior to the event, 100% of the event amount paid will be refunded.
2. If the notice is received up to 20 days prior to the event, 50% of the event amount paid shall be refunded.
3.All cancellation requests made 5 days prior or on the day of the event, no refund will be made.
