Hailing from Chicago, the electronic sister duo Krewella are active vocal inspirations through their music and editorials. Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf have grown into symbols of female empowerment - personified work ethic that transcended social and gender stigmas to ultimately achieve their dream.

With heavy rock and dance influences, the girls first burst onto the scene with their Play Hard EP in 2011. Quickly amassing almost half a billion plays, they were pioneers in a male-dominated music industry, and were one of the few female dance groups to secure major club residencies and festival appearances. Their rebellious fashion and attitude inspired their millions of fans to embrace themselves, and they formed an obsessed collective affectionately self-dubbed as the #KREW.

With the platinum hit ‘Alive’ under their belt, their evolution into a live rock / dance hybrid act continues into 2016 as they prepare to release their second album. With the rare ability to play both acoustic live sets and raucous Las Vegas club residencies, Krewella continues to grow into one of the most unique music performances in the world.

Single-handedly responsible for defining a sound and building a lexicon of bass music unique to India, Nucleya aka Udyan Sagar is undoubtedly the country’s most popular and influential independent artist.

2013 saw the release of his first all original EP ‘Koocha Monster’ which he immediately followed up with ‘Koocha Monster Remix EP’ and cemented his name as the next big thing to happen to Indian electronic dance music. Over the past three years - since the release of his EP Koocha Monster – Nucleya has made his mark as an Indian dance music producer, producing anthems that are the soundtrack of a new Indian generation - frenetic, loud and unabashedly Indian. The Nucleya sound is now a genre in itself and has spawned the rise of producers making desi bass.

Argentinian born Nicolas Abalos aka Shall Ocin has a long history with music. In his youth he played the guitar, electric bass and was influenced by classic 80s sounds from rich funk to many other genres. Since 1998 he’s DJing and in 2006 he decided to settle in Valencia, Spain to produce his own music.

Since then he’s been releasing on labels like Culprit, Leftroom and of course Ellum, who has now become his main affiliation. This is also why he’s part of the Ellum stage at DGTL festival, together with Maceo Plex, Danny Daze, Pachanga Boys and Gardens of God.

The story starts in 2013 where a longing to share avant-garde music culminated in the creation of the channel - an outlet intent on showcasing nothing but the most distinctive four to the floor sounds.

Mia Mendi has relentlessly evolved moment to moment, both stylistically and conceptually. Fast-forward to present day and the name now represents an artistic duo obsessed with uniting melancholic ambience, loaded drums and modulating melodic leads.

This is esoteric production beautifully sewn together with the threads of bedlam - made to move you through a string of sombre dreams.

Jennifer Cardini long since outgrew Pulp – the Parisian club where she first made her name and set off on a mission to take her vision of house music to audiences around Europe and beyond. Over the course of a career spanning of fifteen years, she has delivered DJ sets fusing techno, electro and disco at the world’s most prestigious clubs (Panorama Bar in Berlin, De School in Amsterdam, Lux in Lisbon, Good Room in New York) and hottest festivals (Melt, Nuit Sonores, Burning Man).

Yet her dancefloor philosophy is reflected not only by her sets and the music released on her labels, including electro imprint Correspondant and the more indie oriented Dischi Autunno but also by her engagement in support of the LGBT-community. Based in Berlin following six years in Cologne, Jennifer Cardini continues travelling all around the world
transmitting her love for music to us through the dancefloor!
