Kodachadri: Brace yourself to find the breathtaking panoramic view of the kodachadri hills in valur, karnataka. The 1343 meter altitude where the hills are situated at has a dense forest around. Every year the peak is explored by thousands of people.

The mookambika temple in kollur is quite near to the peak. It also acts as the favourite home for several endangered species of flora and fauna and thus it has the description; a biodiversity hotspot.

Whet your stamina to climb the tricky terrains on this 2 day trekking trip from bangalore and reach the top of the hill where you will be able to grasp the enormous stretches of the western ghats. The plethora of natural spectacle in kodachadri won't be ending. Visit hidlumane waterfalls on your trip in addition to your tour of nagara fort as well.

This package includes food, accommodation and transportation during the trip which is inclusive of pick up and drop off at bangalore.

Total trek distance : 20kms, one side : 10kms, can choose jeep for descending 10kms

Itinerary

Day 1: Journey from Bangalore

Take an overnight journey from Bangalore on friday.

Day 2 :

Begin the Trek
Arrive at the campsite around 6:00 AM, and freshen up.
After breakfast, set out on your Kodachadri hiking expedition to Kumble Village and Hidlumane Waterfalls at 8:00 AM.
Continue your hike to the Kodachadri summit after having a filling lunch.
Reach the mountain's peak and soak in stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
After dusk, make your way down to the campsite and enjoy a nice dinner.

Day 3 : Return and Departure

Get up early, around 6:00 AM, freshen up, and then visit the nearby villages and plantations.
After breakfast, at 9:00 AM, pack your belongings and leave the campsite.
Start your journey to the Nagara Fort, also known as the Shivappa Naik Fort.
Admire the stunning architecture of the fort and start your journey to Jog falls
Have a self sponsored lunch with your trekking friends.
As the Kodachadri hike tour comes to an end begin return journey to Bangalore begins.
