Trekking in Kodachadri promises a mesmerizing journey through diverse landscapes. The trail spans 11 kilometers (one way) and ascends to 1343 meters above sea level. With an easy to moderate difficulty level, it's suitable for both beginners and seasoned trekkers.

You'll navigate through dense tropical rainforests, encountering picturesque waterfalls, lush meadows, and rugged cliffs along the way. The activity duration spans over 2 days and 3 nights, ensuring ample time to explore and soak in the natural beauty of Kodachadri.

Itinerary

Day 1: Journey from Chennai

Depart from Chennai and travel to the destination.

Day 2: Begin the Trek

Arrive at the campsite around 6:00 AM and freshen up.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on your Kodachadri hiking expedition at 8:00 AM.
Trek to Kumble Village and Hidlumane Waterfalls, soaking in the natural beauty along the way.
After a filling lunch, continue your hike to the Kodachadri summit.
Reach the peak and marvel at the stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
Descend to the campsite after dusk and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Return and Departure

Wake up early at 6:00 AM, freshen up, and explore nearby villages and plantations.
Have breakfast at 9:00 AM and pack your belongings.
Leave the campsite and journey to Nagara Fort, admiring its impressive architecture.
Continue your journey to Jog Falls and enjoy a self-sponsored lunch with your trekking companions.
As the Kodachadri hike tour concludes, begin your return journey to Chennai.
Arrive in Chennai around 5:00 AM on Monday, concluding your memorable trekking experience.

Exclusions:

Lunch/Dinner during travel: Meals during the journey to and from the trekking location are not included.
